Don Summers has been an evangelist for over fifty years. A preacher with a truly international reputation, who has spread the Gospel in small towns and big cities, and as an author and broadcaster in Europe, Mexico, Central America, Canada and the United States. Frequently associated with the Billy Graham crusades, broadcasting for over thirty-five years, his voice is heard by many thousands on Trans World Radio each week.
Born in England, Don was a professional magician when barely in his teens and the youngest member of the Magic Circle, the professional magician's organization. He gave up the theater after his conversion and turned to the world's stage as a preacher of the Gospel. After theological training he was appointed staff evangelist to the National Young Life Campaign (UK) and British Youth For Christ, before creating the Don Summers Evangelistic Association as a vehicle for his interdenominational ministry. Nearly fifty years later he has led hundreds of missions in Europe and the Americas, planted churches in many countries and broadcast to the four corners of the world. Don Summers has travelled the globe but never lost sight of the individual. He knows that in our chaotic age God still calls each of us, individually, by name. And Don wants to bring that message home. One by one, to everyone in the world. |
